BPW Ireland partners with Galway 2020 for BPW European Conference

BPW Ireland will host the 16th BPW European Conference in NUI Galway from Friday May 24th – Sunday May 26th. Galway was selected as the location for the 2019 conference ahead of a number of high profile European cities and excitement is now building for this prestigious conference to make its way to the City of the Tribes. 

The conference will see female delegates from across Ireland, Europe and beyond, gather for a weekend full of insightful and inspiring keynote presentations and a variety of workshops all within the framework of an overarching theme of PEACE. The theme will be discussed under the topics of People, Education, Ambition, Communication and Environment.

 

Partnering with GALWAY 2020, Carmen Taheny BPW Ireland President said, “we are delighted to work with the team at Galway 2020 to help showcase our wonderful city and county to our visiting international delegates. It is expected that many of these delegates will return to Ireland with colleagues, friends and family during Galway’s year as European Capital of Culture in 2020.  This partnership will help us to showcase all that Galway has to offer, whilst enhancing their overall experience of Galway and our vibrant city on the edge of Europe.

The BPW European Conference is also supported by KPMG, Meet in Ireland and NUI Galway. The conference is open to women of all professions whether members of the federation or not.
