In 2018, Aedhmar Hynes was named one of the top 50 most powerful global communications professionals.  She has led Text100, the premier global marketing communications agency for the past 18 years.  As the Chief Executive Officer, she built Text100 to become one of the world’s largest, digital communications agencies with 22 offices and over 600 consultants across Europe, North America and Asia.  Her consulting work has included clients such as Adobe, American Express, IBM, Cisco, Facebook, MTV and British Airways.  Aedhmar has worked in the public relations industry for more than three decades, leading and supporting many of the world’s most important brands through digital transformation and technology disruption.  She works closely with client executives, coaching them on company brand reputation, purpose and cultural change driving stakeholder value, customer engagement and brand loyalty.

 

Today, Aedhmar is the elected Chairman of The Page Society, the preeminent industry body for Chief Communications Officers of Fortune 500 companies.  She is a member of the Advisory Council of the MIT Media Lab, a Board Director of Technoserve, and a Board Director of BornFreeAfrica.    Her most recent awards include being named the 2018 Global Communications Professional of the Year and receiving The NUI Galway Alumni Award for Business and Commerce.  Prior to this she received Plank Mentoring Award and the Global Technology Award for Communications.  She is a 2008 Henry Crown Fellow of The Aspen Institute and a member of The Aspen Global Leadership Network. 

 

Aedhmar is based in New York City where she is raising her four children Hannah, Paul, Sinead and Oliver.
